Default 93 Suburban ABS Failed

The orange ABS light is on all the time now. When you 1st start out the familiar "abs motor whine" no longer occurs. Brakes work fine otherwise. Is there one likely thing a DYI guy can work on/replace or is this a job for a professional! Thanks!

One more try - your input is appreciated. Maybe to better clarify - when car is started, ABS light is off. When you get to 5mph and expect to hear that familiar ABS motor whine, it doesn't happen and the ABS light comes on and stays illuminated. Thanks in advance and won't bump this one again!

Does your ABS ever activate when turning going out of a driveway, or braking on a slow speed stop? If so, a bad wheel bearing can be the cause. If it's never activating at all, just the fault light stays on, I'd say it's one of the wheel sensors.

Never activates, fault light on at all times. Am guessing it's the main module/motor but know nothing about this magical part.
