Oh yeah forgot to mention the towing mirrors with turn signal lights ordered today also. Should look pretty tough.

Welcome to the forum.

You must have a lot better Maaco where you are than we do here. I spent about a week color sanding to get rid of the orange peel and removing all of the dry overspray in the door jambs.

amazingly I have virtually no orange peel and looks pretty much like you would get from the factory. I didnt have the door jams done but I had a budget because of all the other items I ordered for it.

The Maaco I went to did a very good job of painting. They did lack when it came to cleaning up after themselves. Rubber seals around door not put back on and cleaning dust from inside. Other than that I am very satisfied. They charged a lot less than other body shops, so I did't care about cleaning up a little.

Thumbs up Finishing the details

Got the rims and tires on. Grill plasti-dipped and on. She is coming together great. Just waiting for warmer weather till I put on the new shocks, add a leaf, and torsion keys.

Default Still pluging away.

New dual exhaust flowmaster 40 series on. new rear add-a-leaf and shocks. Wow the old u bolts were so rusted that i cant believe they didnt snap off. Good thing I decided to do this. Still waiting on new hubs with bearings, rotors and pads before I start to tackle the front end. tie rods inner and outer new control arms with bushings, new upper and lower ball joints, and new idler arm. The rear came up 2 inches with the added leaf and the ride quality didn't change much if any that I noticed. I will update further with more pictures of the work when I get a chance. Wish me luck on the front end....
