95 Burb parking lights/tail light problem
So I decided to upgrade my headlamps to Sylvania silverstars recently. When I went for a ride after doing so, I noticed that the fuse for the parking lights, taillights, and dashboard had blown. I inspected the connections of the parking lights, as well as the wires that were easily accessible, and I didn't see anything wrong. After putting a new fuse in, it just blows the second you turn the parking lights on. Now, it seems 99% likely that while changing the headlights, I moved the parking light wires enough to expose a short somewhere.
So, my questions are a) how can I find where the problem is without being knee deep in wires b) is there a way to check with my multimeter to see if the problem is fixed without wasting a fuse and c) if I can't find the problem, is there an easy way to just disconnect the parking lights?
