my (5 Suburban rolls when in park. Starts fine and shifts into every gear normally but when I put it up in park the transmission isnt in reverse and key off is possible but when you let off brake pedal it will roll away. I have tried the linkage adjust procedure where you release the clip and shift from park to 1st gear 4 times then close clip back but still the same result. please help

 

park pawl linkage in the trans may be broke. you could try to drop the pan to see if there is anything you can access. if not, may require a teardown....make sure the ebrake is functioning.
