Default 95 tahoe stumbling problem

Hey I am new to this forum and am in need of some help. I have a 95 Tahoe 5.7L and it developed a bad stumbling problem at 1000-1500 rpms. When you come to a stop it wants to die and then catches itself. I took it to a shop to get it scanned to find the problem and they told me everything checked out good. I took the tech on a test drive and he couldn't believe that it was acting that way. He told me it could be a bad distributor. So far 5 shops later and a ton of new parts it is getting worse. I have replaced the Distributor, fuel pump and filter, TPS, O2 Sensor, cat converter, new injectors, egr vacuum sensor, cap rotor wires and plugs. I am tired of throwing parts at this tahoe and can use some advice. The only thing left is the temp control sensor, and the computer. It is running rich as you can smell the gas coming from the exhaust. Any ideas?
