'96 Tahoe preventative maintenance
Hi,
I'm new to the forum, so I hope I'm asking this right.
I just got a '96 Tahoe with just under 118K miles on it. I plan to keep it for over 10 years, so I want to make sure that I take VERY good care of it. I did get it from a local dealership, so I think the major things are most likely OK. I don't know anything about working on vehicles myself so I want to know what I should do as far as regular maintenance or preventative care to help it last.
I also want to put seat covers on to protect the leather, but I don't know what size to get. How do you measure the seats to find out what size covers are needed? Right now I can only afford cheap universal covers, but I need something to protect the leather from my dog right away.
Thanks in advance for your help.
