Default 97 Suburban, where is expansion valve?

I'm going through what has ended up being almost the total replacement of the A/C in my 97 Suburban. I've replaced the compressor, front hoses, condenser, evaporator, accumulator, and STILL have warm air, and 55/275 pressures at 90+ ambient. About the last thing besides the rear evap is the rear expansion valve. Problem is, I can't even find it! It's not under the car, under the hood, and I can't figure out how to get into the rear A/C.

I have the carpeted cover off the back and see the entire assembly, but can't figure out what to remove to get access to the evaporator. I'm assuming the expansion valve is in there, since that's about the only place left, that it can hide.

help?
