Default 99 HOE Fuel Pump Wiring

Trying to figure out if I'm supposed to be getting a hot lead from either the grey or the purple wire that connects to the fuel pump when I turn the ignition on....

I'm def. not getting any fire to those wires when the car is on / not running....

Trying to diagnose this issue and it's driving me crazy.

There are 4 wires total / 2 black , grey and one purple and white..

Any input is greatly appreciated.
