Default ABS is Humming with engine off

I bought a used 2001 Chevy Tahoe a few months ago. When I bought it the ABS and Brake lights were on in the insturment display. The fuse in the dashboard is fine. When I checked the fuse box under the hood, the master fuse (60 amp) was pulled. I put it back in and with the engine off it started humming (loud). I checked the dash board and the Brake light was off but the ABS light was still on. I tried starting it and it continued to hum, then turned it off and it still hummed. I pulled the fuse again to make it stop. What is it? Please help. I don't know anything about ABS systems but it almost sounds like a pump is stuck on. Does the system even have a pump?

Welcome to the forum.

I believe there is a pump associated w/ the ABS.

your abs module is going bad, or is bad, my moms 2001 suburban did it too, we had to replace it.

Just teach it the words, it'll stop humming.
