AC snowflake has blinking light no air
I have a 2009 Tahoe. The snowflake blinks 3 times and does not come on. I changed the ambient air sensor. That didn't work. Now my ignorance is just sticking out so everyone can see. Any ideas?
This happened to me a while back in my 2011 Suburban. I had a "rupture" in the coolant lines going from front to back.
It ended up being pretty frustrating because the lines came in 2 parts and only the dealership near me had the crimping tool required to perform the service. But I did it, because I knew the wife & kids would not be willing to drive all summer without AC.

There may be options. The garages near me weren't able to do the patch job someone on my original thread suggested:

Just went through pretty much the exact same thing with my 2001 Yukon XL. I believe you are low on freon. You need to go to a reputable AC shop. Have them check freon level and leaks. The system needs to be checked with gauges, not with those AC Pro recharge kits. This is from experience.
