Default 2017 Escalade Adaptive Cruise Control Temporarily Unavailable

I have a 2017 Escalade esv but the Cadillac Forums are sparse. I have taken my car to 2 dealers (one caddie one chevy) to fix the ACC system. Both can figure out what the problem is with out spending almost 2K to replace the system.

What tools do I need to read back the system error codes (I dont seem them in the OBD with a standard scanner) and If I replace the continental radar sensor and the windshield camera can I program the system myself?

Really starting to dig in and not finding much out there on the system. If could just disable and use standard CC that would be fine. But it looks like I can only do that on an '18

You need a scan tool that can read all 4 code families. P , U , C and B. . If a reprogram is needed it may be a GM MIDI thing only, not sure on that.

I have been looking at this, and its hard to decipher what tool I need. I think its a GDS2? But there are a lot of imitators on the web.
