I just bought a 2003 TahoeLS z71. It doesn't have the 3rd row seat. My question is can I add a 3rd row seat and how big of an ordeal would it be

i would look at opne somebody has before you did .

 

I would suspect all Tahoes are manufactured the same so the basics for the 3rd row are probably in place under the carpet, I would check there first.
If the mounts are there then its a matter of getting the seats and hardware, If there are no mounts or attach points you may have to look for an aftermarket setup.

 

I bought my 07 with the 3rd row and use them from time to time, I know others say they would perfer not to having them. Overall I think resale your better off with then without.
