Default Adding factory keyless entry

2001 4wd Tahoe Base model. Is this possible? I believe the RPO code is AU0. can it be added by adding the receiver to existing wiring loom? Does someone have a parts list for that factory option?

Also the factory service manuals, do they give part numbers for the factory options?

Thanks

Shane

New to me 2001 Tahoe owner.

Welcome to the forum...
I have not seen part numbers listed in the factory service manuals...
I know Alldatadiy.com will sometimes list part numbers and approximate cost, but they do not always have listings for all vehicles...
Many repair shops have OEM list of factory replacement parts with part numbers and estimated replacement times... you can sometimes find those listed on EBay...
I know on the GMT900, 2007 and up, body style it could require dealer programming to enable the option(s) I don't know if that is the case for the GMT800 2000-2006 models

You may just be better off going with something aftermarket...
