Default Adding mirror turning signals

Have any of you added turning lights to your outside mirrors ? What did you use and where did you connect to the wiring ? Mine is a 2004 Tahoe.

I'd guess, and it's just a guess, that the harness already contains the wire for the turn signal (might even have a wire for a mirror heater).

I'd pull off a mirror (easy on our 2005 Yukon), get the turn signal operating, and use a simple 12 volt test light to see if any of the terminals in the harness connector flash with the turn signals.

Thanks for the idea. I wonder what later years mirrors will also fit a 2004 Tahoe. It may be easier just to trade up to newer ones.

There are complete aftermarket mirror assemblies available, like at O'Reilly Auto
