Update, I replaced the Brake Pedal Position switch after I found out the Cruise was working intermittently with the Range unit removed. Cruise works fine now and the Range unit is back on the truck.

A little over 900 miles and still the oil level hasn't changed. Mileage is down some but it's hard to say if its from not having DOD turned on or me remote starting in the morning to warm it up? I'm sure it's a little of both.

Congrats, similar result that I have found as well in that oil usage basically stopped after installing the Range. In my opinion, anyone with the oil consumption issue on these 5.3's should do this. And even if they don't have the problem ... I am hoping it prevents (or delays) lifter failure.

I've got only about 400 miles on my latest oil change but no change in the level, but I am seeing a drop in my MPG but I expect that with the disabling of the AFM, I suspect you can loose anywhere from .5 to 3 miles per gallon with it disable as that is about what the AFM promises I believe....
Its a trade off you have to accept to avoid the failure

Still going good, oil level holding well, mpg is down as expected, and I have experienced one of the issues that Range makes note of, if left plugged in, with the vehicle sitting for a couple of days it will put a small drain on the battery... I had a weak start but it started, however the drain was just enough to cause the HVAC to reset and go into learn mode...
Just add the extra motion of plugging it in and unplugging it like it was a cell phone or charger as part of a routine..
