Default AIr Conditioning for the back seats

Am I missing something here...or did Chevy make it extrememly hard to urn on the air conditioner for the rear passengers (especially when they are in car seats)? In the past, you could control the rear air from the front of the vehicle....now, you have to reach behind you, look down and hope you press the right button to turn on the rear air. Am I missing something or is their another way to do this? I have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ.

When you first turn on the rear air from the front console, it will mimic the driver's setting.

On my 07 Suburban LTZ, the "aux" button on the front console activates and deactivates rear air.

As stated above you have control of the rear as well . Once you have the front on, hit the Aux and it will mimic your settings.

the "aux" button is right next to the recirculate button and cools the rear very quickly. The button probably would be better served if they renamed it rear a/c is something.
