Ambulance clipped off driver's side mirror
So I move out of the way of an ambulance and they clipped off my mirror. I managed to get everything back except the mirror and the fake chrome top half. The wiring is intact and all. Can I buy the mirror and chrome piece alone or do I have to buy and entire assembly? It doesn't seem too cheap and I'm worried that I'm not going to get my money from the ambulance company. I looked on ebay but the parts get confusing. Does anyone have specific part numbers or a good place to get the parts? Any help would be appreciated. It's a black '08 Suburban LTZ with heated mirror, power folding and turn signal. Thanks!!!
call the police to file a report, in PA it would be a non-something (sorry) report, since no one was injured and no one had to be towed.
I'd just take the whole truck to the dealer and get it fixed then give the whole invoice to the ambulance company.
last time I got a speeding ticking at 9 PM with no one on the road; for 14 over in a 55... I'm fairly sure they raped me for $40 some for 'emt fee' even though I didn't wreck... so obviously there is some money somewhere.
get a police report. get an invoice from the dealer
and if they won't pay that; get a lawyer and include your time.
get photos! and outline the time frame in writing in case it needs to go to court.
