Anyone tell me the front AC drain location? Water on pass floor

Okay a friend of mine has an 03 Tahoe and has been getting water (not coolant) on the front passenger floors when he runs the AC. We found the rear drain nipple and couldn't get anything to dislodge out of it or any water seepage. Assuming there's a front drain, I can't find it. Can anyone tell me its exact location? I've looked everywhere I would have expected an evaporator drain to be with no luck. So I've come to the experts.

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Not sure where it is but they're usually at the low point on the evaporator case and it sounds like you've already looked there.

thanks for the welcome, surely someone here knows where the front drain is? Or if the one in the rear is the only one?

okay I found it, it is sandwiched between the Condensor canister and a metal heat shield that form fits the canister, it can only be found by touch, and mine was clogged and full of water just as I suspected.
Bending the heat shield downward and getting my hands under the canister allowed me to snake a soft wire up into it and break up whatever was clogging it.

No problem, glad I could contribute something, I'm used to enthusiast vehicle forums (Jeeps and Mustangs, and Hot Rods) were every problem and solution is already somewhere to be found with search, due to the shear number of do-it-yourselfers ![Smile](https://chevroletforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Now I have to figure out why only setting number 5 blows any air, trying to help fix a friends Tahoe.
I've heard that the harness can chafe causing this. Anyone else have any ideas on this problem?

The problem will most likely be the blower motor resister. Speed 5 by-passes the resister and goes straight to battery which is why it is still working

So where is the resistor at? I know that the other settings were working, but over a short time they one by one stopped working.
