Hello new to this just like I’m new to work on my vehicle I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe and The check engine light came on along with service four-wheel-drive over my cluster panel transfer Chase encoder motor or modular need to be replaced mechanic quoted me way too much could afford it so I went and got one and put in myself problem is fixed about two weeks later my four-wheel-drive selector panel to the left of my cluster panel would only light up and I’d start the car and then no lights on at all we come on and then my service four-wheel-drive came back on along with a ticking sound and sometimes a clunk every once in a while in first gear when I would hit second gear it would stop the ticking sound would Pick back up on third gear Before I could fix it I had to work and get some money saved up to do so I work on the road on my way to work I heard a big clunk in the car start slowing down as I’m in the gas put it in park shut it off for a little bit if you know who’s going to start it up to try to see if it was going on if it would move and the RPMs would raise but no motion in the vehicle I don’t know if it’s the transmission is out if it’s the transfer case motor that needs to be replaced again the whole thing if it’s I bought the wrong part not knowing please somebody help ask questions I’ll answer anything
