Our 2007 Tahoe LT had the automatic trunk which has been working fine until this week. It won't open with the push of the remote or the pull of the handle. It will open the "old-fashioned way" by manually lifting it up and pulling it back down to close.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

might be a fuse..would have to look in your manuel to see which fuse it is tho..i have no idea lol

 

That's what I thought also, looked at the fuse and it looked fine but just to be safe I bought another one and put it in and nothing still. Anyone else with an idea?

Did you check the lockout switch on the overhead console?

 

That was it! Boy, do I feel stupid! Thanks for the help! I was racking my brain and didn't even think about trying that! No one ever touches it (or so I thought)!
