Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Default Big day for my Tahoe!

My 2004 Tahoe hit the 100K mile mark this weekend. I bought it 5 years ago when it had 20K miles and by far it has been the best vehicle I've ever owned, including non-Chevy's. Besides normal maintenance and upkeep, I've only had to put a water pump on it.

I do have an issue with it now that I'm trying to work on. The heater/defroster blows hot everywhere but the driver's side. It may or may not be needed in Texas but I would like to have it working. I was told the blend door may be sticking but I haven't had time to look into it yet.

I hope a lot of others have had the same experience and luck that I've had and I get to see it hit 200K.

Keep on truckin!

Default miles

'95. 285,000 when I sold it, still ran.
A/C and power mirrors were only things not working at sale.

Greetings rjkenn welcome to the Forum

There are many members here, which are just as pleased with their Hoe/Burb as you, though Sabr's 285K is exceptional.

I had a similar problem with my Defrost, save that is was locked in the Defrost position, which I found was the Actuator, which looks like this...

I'm not sure just where on your model the proper Actuator is located for the Defrost Door, but maybe knowing what it looks like, will help some.

Thanks for the reply and info. I have a few days off and plan on tearing into it tomorrow. It does help to know what I'm looking at and I think I found a diagram that shows where everything is located. If it turns out to be acurate, I'll post it.

Thanks again and Happy Holidays!
