Hi, im new to this forum, i got a 1999 tahoe that sucks in hill driving.
Im pullimg my car trailer some times, and when i come to a hill, the bosst pressure goes to 0. And comes and goes :/
I thaught it was the wastegate, but ive changes it with no better resaults.

Any body know what may cause this on and off bosst? (Works on normal driving) just with a lot of gas it losses bosst. Come and goes..
Can it be a sensor? Think there is two? Bosst solinoide obove the intake? and a map sensor on the wall there?..

I didn't realize that Chevrolet a turbocharger on the Tahoes back then. Is this an aftermarket add-on?

Yes its stock. Every 6,5 tahoe, silverado and suburban have turbo

 

Did not know that. Learn something new everyday. Is it a diesel?
