RE: Brake Controller
No worries... When I got to the store to buy the nut, I realized that it was way too big, so I bought every size from 10 to 6. Because of you I spent an extra $1.70... I'm probably not going to be able to feed my kids now.... Just kiddin.... Thanks for the help!!!

RE: Brake Controller
I am installing a brake controller as well on my 2007 Tahoe and the owners manual refers to a red/black wire (the one mentioned above that connects to Stud 2) and also a blue wire. Does anyone know what this wire is for?

RE: Brake Controller
Does anyone know WHERE that Blue wire is? I've found the red wire...believe the Blue was for the electric trailer brakes, but I'll have to check it again tonight.

RE: Brake Controller
Does anyone know if the blue wire is fused? My controller has voltage but does not recognize the brakes. No fuse panels have anything labeled"electric brakes" other than the stud, but the owners manual has a note that says both the blue and red wires are not connected under the hood.

RE: Brake Controller
The blue wire is not fused and does not need to be connected under the hood. My new brakes on the trailer were wired incorrectly, once resolved eveything worked perfectly.
