Brake Controller
No worries... When I got to the store to buy the nut, I realized that it was way too big, so I bought every size from 10 to 6. Because of you I spent an extra $1.70... I'm probably not going to be able to feed my kids now.... Just kiddin.... Thanks for the help!!!

I am installing a brake controller as well on my 2007 Tahoe and the owners manual refers to a red/black wire (the one mentioned above that connects to Stud 2) and also a blue wire. Does anyone know what this wire is for?
Does anyone know if the blue wire is fused? My controller has voltage but does not recognize the brakes. No fuse panels have anything labeled"electric brakes" other than the stud, but the owners manual has a note that says both the blue and red wires are not connected under the hood.
i dont know the exact year but e-trailer has several good video's of install's on silverado's 07-08-09 and older that should be just about the same here is the link .http://www.etrailer.com/tvc-9m-Chevr...ontroller.html
