Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

I feel the same way as you except for 1 issue. I had 2 excursions. The first slf ignited in my garage totalling the vehicle and my garage. The second one had the 6.0 , probably the biggest turd of an engine ever made. I got rid of it shortly after. I love my Suburban and plan on keeping it, however i'm looking for another SUV and made my mind up on a Toyota 4runner

We have a 97 Tahoe, we purchased with 57,000 miles on in 2001. We did have to rebuild the transmission in about 2005. It now has 365,000 miles on it. This has by far been the best vehicle we have ever had.

Thumbs up

I've owned 2 subs. a 1992, and now a 2004 with 116k. I love the sub, almost got a pickup this time until I ran into this deal on the 04. on th e92 I rebuilt the trans at bout 240k and replaced the fuel pump twice. other than that just the stuff to be expected with a ten year old truck

I do love my Suburban, I will probably cry the day I have to put her to rest. he is sturdy, fun to drive, pretty and reliable. These are my experiences in some weeks with my beloved car. hope, I can treat him well
