Need to tow more (9-10k) in the wifes 2014 tahoe 2wd, has max cooling, 3.42's. I want to stockpile all parts and do the work all at once. Needing advice on parts.
Cam- wanting an "rv type" Don't want to swap convertor

Intake? Do I need this?
port and polish? do I need this?
Just looking for advice and part numbers, I'll be installing helper bags, cold air intake and a controller as well.
Thanks in advance, go gentle i'm new to this forum stuff

At those tow weights you need more brakes and heavier axles rather than engine power.
Your in 2500 series territory not 1500 series trucks. Tahoe's are only 1/2 ton 1500 trucks with about a 7500 GVW rating. You need at least a 2500 series suburban or pickup to tow that weight safely.
Better to put the money and time into a bigger truck.
