Default Cargo dimensions, help please.

I'm starting a web site that provides subwoofer enclosure plans for various vehicles at an affordable price. These would be for people to build their own boxes. I'm doing this so they don't have to sacrifice quality by going with a pre-fab box, or money by going with a custom box from Car Toys or something of the like. I'm wanting the Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban to be in there because I know it's a very popular vehicle that has some good room to work with in the cargo area, if the third row seat(s) is taken out.

Now, I know my friend's '03 Tahoe has 48" between the wheel wells and about 19-20" tall up to the window line. The question is, are all Tahoes/Yukons/Suburbans of that generation the same as far as wheel well clearance goes? Also, would 48" wide and 19-20" tall still be usable in the previous generation in the mid-late 90's as well as the current model version from '07 and up?

Thanks for any and all help,
-Ryan

I'm betting your best bet is to go to a car lot and start measuring....

True, but I figured someone on here could easily measure the space between their wheels wells and give me a general height limit that wouldn't go over the rear seats.

Default wheels

most vehicles strive for 48" between the wheel wells, so you can carry drywall or plywood.

i'm 95% sure the GMT900 is 48" between the wheel wells.

That's for your '07 and '10 Tahoe? I assume that same 48.25 would work for the Suburban and Yukon as well?

Never assume. Notice that the third row hip room is different on the Tahoe and 'burb and 'burb says 49.1" inside wheel well. I've never measured mine and since it's about 15* outside, probably won't but don't remember that there was over an inch clearance when hauling 48" mat'ls.
