sorry if this sounds dumb but what is a resonator?

 

I have a t rex grille sittin in the garage dont know how it looks on but it looks good out of the box

 

I just picked Carriage Works because of their reputation. I've never heard anything bad about T-rex though. That street scene one looks good too![/align][/align]And I'm with you on the resonator (smaller muffler thing right behind tailpipe). I'm just trying to talk the wife into an exhaust, so I'm holding off a bit. The crappy look of the resonator is a selling point for a new cat-back! [/align]

 

Ye, the small muffler looking thing is a resonator.
