Default Cashmere leather gets dirty really fast!

I have noticed that at the end of every work week I am having to clean my seats and armrest. I am pretty picky when it comes to the interior so I may notice it more than most but at the rate I am going I won't have any color left on the seats after a year. I know it's a light color but it just seems to get dirty so quickly. Is there anything I can put on it to protect a little bit or am I cleaning them too much and leaving enough cleaner on it that it might be attracting dirt? I have been using the Mequire's cleaner/conditioner that comes in the same bottle.

I second this post!

I have the casmere/ebony interior. I love the colors. However, the entire casmere shows dirt so bad. I drive my tahoe only for nice driving trips. No dirt on myself, or cargo/passengers. But the entire vehicle shows everything. The door handles, the bottom trim where a show may slightly rub it, the sun visors, the glove box. It all drives me crazy! Never noticed anything quite this bad. But maybe I am being too meticulous, oh wait it is a 50k vehicle.

I had a new '68 GTO with white interior and believe me, I'd never do it again. Looked great when clean but just sit in it and it got dirty. Still stuck on black exterior though cuz at least you can dust it off.

digdug:

Was the Mequiars you were using the new Detailer for interiors? If not, you might give it a shot. Works good on my ebony.

It's getting the wife and kids to bath that I'm having trouble with.

You know that if the truck is dirty it sure isn't our fault

The best solution is to wrap your Tahoe in plastic wrap, make sure you use 16.5ml

I'm glad I got the black interior as I carry kids, bikes, and other stuff.
