changed head gaskets, wont start
hey all, i recently changed the head gaskets on my 97 suburban, now it wont start, my guess would be the ignition timing which im going to look into tomorrow, but wondering if anybody else has run into this problem and maybe had a quick tip...

make sure your distributor was installed correctly. check this link for procedure if unsure. also double check all connections, valve adjustment.

thanks maxx, ignition was my problem, that link was a big help, except the part where it talks about lining up the tabs on the shaft with the paint mark and then lining up the rotor to the mark, which is impossible to do since they are linked and two different locations if that makes any sense...
well she runs now but now the oil gauge is reading 0, suspecting the oil sending unit is disconnected or malfunctioning due to carelessness while playing with other stuff ;p
snowing now so will have to take a break for a couple days
