Default check tire pressure message

2004 Tahoe
After replacing tires and all four tire pressure sensors, they can't get the system to work. They go through all the correct steps, light goes out message goes away and I leave and within a mile the light comes and the check tire pressure message comes on. They say that there could be something wrong with the tps receiver on my vehicle. 2 question where is the receiver located and who has had a similar problem and resolved it.

TPMS is usually part of the keyless entry module. What does the tire pressure read on a diagnostic tool?

I did not see any readings. Technician said that all pressures were good.

well if the light is on then you need to scan with a professional diagnostic tool to find out what the problem is

We bought a 2005 Yukon in 2010. The TPMS never worked, I just checked tire pressures the old fashioned way, like I do on my 2004 Frontier, 1998 Frontier, 1988 Mazda truck, 1971 VW convertible, and 1970 VW Beetle.

We sold that in 2021 with about 240K miles. We now have a 2014 Yukon Denali, and that system works fine so far, actually tells one the actual pressure in each tire instead of just "OK/not OK".

I'm not sure if they did this, but there is a specific procedure to reset all of your tpms sensors. Can't just do it from the diagnostic tool. YouTube tpms sensors for 04 tahoe on YouTube and you'll see.
