Just FYI. I've been trying to purchase a chrome front bowtie emblem for my 08 Tahoe, and had some difficulty finding one. A local dealer said GM was "cracking down" on manufacterers for copyright issues and he couldn't get them anymore. I tried ebay and the first place I tried, I got burned. Paid them and never heard from them. Their website went down and phone disconnected. So don't buy anything from autoaccessories4u. I was able to finally find a reputable dealer on ebay and got one it and it looks awesome. I also took the rear gold bowtie off exposing the chrome underneath. Looks great as well!

 

How do you just take off the gold?

 

I bought mine from JP Customs...give them a call, they're very helpful and nice. Non bordered looks best IMO.
