OK, just did a fuel pressure check...

Key on, engine off: 62 PSI...holds for 4 seconds and then drops to zero (I can hear a click right before it drops)

Key off, then key on, engine off repeats itself.

Tahoe starts right up...of course the tahoe is hot since I just drove her home from work.

I am pretty sure a sticking EGR valve can cause hard starts.

From what I understand... You can check the EGR valve but letting the engine idle for a few minutes when you first start the engine. Then check the temperature of the EGR valve. It should not be hot. Should be the same temp as your intake manifold.

front and center of the motor. Round canister about 2-3" in diameter with a plug facing you as you are standing at the front of the motor. It has 2-12mm bolts holding it on. Those bolt heads are also facing you. I'd get you a picture, but it's raining out.

I forgot that I already have a picture. Red Arrow is the EGR valve.

I cleaned mine, and replaced the gasket that someone never put in before me, and all my issues have cleared up. Great Idle, and no stumble. Runs like a champ now.
