Default Cursed 2010 Suburban

Hey Guys,
I own a 2010 Suburban with 45,000 miles that has been great until the warranty expired and now it seems like it's starting to fall apart. The chrome overlay on the inner drivers side door handle is coming off and will slice your hand like a razor. The plastic on my steering wheel is peeling like a sunburn. My radio changes sources constantly on its own like it's possessed by the Devil. And now there's a clunk that you can hear and feel in the gas pedal when I first accelerate from park. Took it to the Dealer and they said it was probably the front drive line splines and that it's not covered under warranty and will run $300.00-$500.00 to fix. This is my first Chevy vehicle and didn't expect these type of issues so early on from this n ice of a vehicle. My Wife is interested in a new Tahoe when her car is paid off this summer but I'm having second thoughts. Well I'll do some searching on this site and see what I can do to fix these problems. Thanks for listening to me vent.

Peeling Chrome Door Handles: There's a fix for it, check the forums.
Do you have Steering wheel controls or a bluetooth enabled factory deck? Those could be causing random input sources to your head unit.
My steering wheel looks like it peeled at one point, but that was before I bought the truck. Just finish peeling it off
Some random 4x4 work is normal for a suburban, they are trucks.

If you take it a dealer they say "probably", take it to another dealer. Just my 2 cents.

Welcome to GM build quality. I loathe my 2009. I too was taken in by the initial looks, size, and feel of it. Took me about 5,000 miles to realize my mistake.

GM will never get another penny of mine.

Which is good, since I believe they are up to 13 dead and how many wounded now?

My wife's Tribute, which was $14,000 used vs a $55,000 Tahoe has 10x the build quality.

I'm not currently in the market for a tow rig, but a F-250 or 350 will most likely be my next 'truck' of choice. (I need to tow about 12k).
