Default Dash finish

The other day I had my 07 Tahoe interior detailed at the car wash. When I left the finish on the dash around the defroster vent was bubbling up and coming off. I questioned the car wash about and they said they only used the normal stuff. I don't know what the product was but it left the dash looking a lot like Armour All would. I took it to the dealer and they are replacing it under warantee. They asked if Armor All had been used. They mentioned that this had been a problem. They agreed to replace this time but did not act like they would if it happend again. I wonder what products are safe.

Armor all is alcohol based and is very hard on interior trim pieces.
I would not recommend using this product on your Tahoe, not even on the tires.

What he says (see above).

The 303 Protectant is the best stuff I have ever seen, but they don't give the stuff away.

I agree. I've been using 303 for years and it's the best I've found.

Which of the 303 products do you use on your vehicles? Do you use them on just the interior or exterior (tires, etc.) as well?

On the dash I use the 303 Aerospace Protectant . Hell use this on almost everything, rubbers in the door jambs, tires, you can even use it on the black plastics without the fear of them turning white. on average it runs about 9.99 for 8 oz. Search around you might be able tofind a better deal.Point is try it.This is the only rubber, vinyl, lexan, fiberglass protectant that goes on our products and installs at my shop. Have never had any problems or complaints........e
