Default Door Handles "paint" Peeling

HEY! I'm back! Because my Piece of $hit Tahoe is back! (well, it never left, and it's still the worst car I've ever owned).

Anyway; to the point. I searched "door handle peel" but couldn't find anything, but I know I've read about the door handles peeling on this forum...

My left, rear door handle, the "chrome paint" is bubbling on top!

God *&MN do I HATE this %*#(*NG truck so much.

Anyway; 70,000 miles, garage stored, babied, and always hand washed.

Why does GM make such crap? Has any one else had this issue?

I know It's now 3.2 years old, but seriously! I have 11 year old jet skis and a 23 year old boat that look better than this thing and have HELD UP.

the handlers are OEM and not after market correct? Those may be covered by the same reasons for replacement as the inside peeling "death handles" were...

I noticed the other day the inside of my drivers side outside handle has the paint worn away a bit, I would guess do to repeated wear but I do keep my hands pretty clean... Its not outwardly noticeable, but I know its there....

Yep. OEM. Came with them. That door has only been used like 20x since new. It's not even a wear surface.

With the 20 other issues, I'm hoping a call to GM will warranty it, but I'm not holding my breath. I don't expect the truck to be covered forever, but at $55k I expected more. I really did. My co workers $19k Toyota is 10x better built.

The little rubber tabs on the passenger side of my front cups holders have somehow slipped inside the cup holder assembly... I can't figure out how to open the cup holder assembly. It appears to be a ultrasonic weld...

Mine were peeling right after I bought it used. The local dealer replaced them for free. All you have to do is ask.

Default Malibu Door Handle

I have a Malibu and the driver side door handle is also chipping away (exterior). I rarely drive it (walk to work); and it’s stored in a garage.
