Default Door lock actuator replacement problems

2007 Suburban for reference

Earlier this summer I replaced all of the exterior door handles as one had broken and wouldn't open from the outside ( the plastic inside the exterior door handle had broken from kids hanging on it, pulling excessively to open door). Then did round 2 of door handle replacement as the two rear doors broke again (doors hard to open compared to front, took way more effort than the front).

Since I figured it was a bad sign that 2 sets of door handles broke in such a short time span, it was probably time to replace the actuators.

Received the actuators and installed today. Passenger side rear door closes but won't latch completely
Takes a hard push to get to to seat against the door seal. Tried adjusting the latch on the door piller to see if that was slightly out of alignment. Didn't help.

Drivers side rear door replaced and closes just fine and opens nice and softly as expected. However twice now the door acts as if it's locked (kids locked and unlocked the doors electronically. Second time was auto lock when gear is moved out of park) and I have to fish a wire to unlock and open. It almost acts like the electronic lock and unlock isn't working due to a bad connection. It's not possible to reverse the actuator wiring harness plug is it?

Any ideas?

May have self troubleshooted the driver side. Pulled every apart again and tested actuator electric lock outside door. Unlocked and locked fine. Made sure to reseat the electrical plug when reinstalled and seems to be working fine as of now. Tested multiple times electronic and manual lock and unlock and door opened just fine each time. Fingers crossed that ones side is solved now.
