I have a 2018 Suburban. 2 months ago the door locks began to periodically lock and unlock while driving. When this happens, the transmission slips and the truck will not accelerate, as if it is in neutral. The video display switches from the radio to a movie. It all switches back and forth quickly. It is as if the car is being shifted from drive to park back to drive several times in a row. Stopping the car and restarting the engine resets the problem until it happens again several days later. I took it to the dealer and they could not find an electrical issue, and could not get the problem to happen. I did recently damage the passenger side running board and had to have it replaced. There seems to be a correlation with opening the passenger side rear door and the problem happening, but it is not every time. Also, the windshield wiper fluid is leaking out of the underside of the car (not sure how that is related)

Any help would be appreciated. I have to bring it back to the dealer, but Id like to have some ideas when I give it to them, or its going to be another $300 fishing expedition.

 

Needs a high level code scan for sure. I'm thinking neutral safety switch issue or it's wiring.

 

I'm also having the same problem with doors locking and unlocking, left church and it started, then the back hatch opens and won't close back, cannot find the problem in fuses and seems to be an repetitive problem
