Default Drl problem

Hello I've tried looking up my issue but haven't been able to find my exact problem. When I lock my truck all the lights turn off like normal but one led on both sides

closest to the grille in the drls stay on all the time it started a week ago and it's driving me crazy. What would cause this issue?

Welcome to the forum. Saw a mention on the net that GM had a fix for some DRL problem but didn't mention what year it was. Might check with your dealer.

thank you. Unfortunately I don't go to dealer here they are rude and way over priced. Having other issues with the tahoe. I think its time to trade it in.

The drl's will stay on if the photo cell malfunctions. You can find the photo cells in the vent in the center of the dash under the windshield. They are the two black buttons sticking through. I think it is the one on the right. You can disable this by pulling it up and replacing with a 1k resistor. This will disable the drl's. Cheers. Wavelength.
