DRL turn on when fog light button is pressed?

DRL turn on when fog light button is pressed?
I bought new housings for my 2005 tahoe, when the new ones were installed the headlights did not come on. The next day my drl did not come on either, i bought new fuses and relays assuming that was the problem but it fixed nothing. Then I realized my drl come on when the fog light button is pressed but my fog lights don’t come on..?
