Hello , My name is Joe and I have a 1999 K1500 Chevy Suburban with a 5.7L V8.

Here are the codes I just pulled from the vehicle:

P0507
P0420
P0430
P0118

I was wondering if you guys have any ideas as to where I should begin on tackling these codes? I guess I am a noob to some things, but your solutions and comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. And today is My 37th Birthday today and what a way to celebrate it by working on my truck.

My approach to the codes is to clear them, and see what comes back and start there... Unless you know all the codes just showed up at once and have not been stored for some period, its best to start with a clean slate so to speak...

 

Well I cleared all codes and so far its been 4 days and no new code yet.

 

It may take several drive cycles for some codes to come up, particularly if your drives are short ones...but 4 days is a good sign thanks for following up with your post
