I just bought my second burb, a '09 Burb with the Nav/DVD pkg.

I love the fact that the Nav screen plays the movie while your parked, but it cuts off once you put the car in gear.

Is there anyway to bypass the interlock. My wife rides in the front seat and would like to watch a movie without going into the backseat.

Is there anyway to reprogram or bypass the interlock?

GM Lockpick

I just want to enter destinations on the move... i hate that... but the $ is a little steep for me... i'll just come to a complete stop on the highway in the left lane instead....

 

Welcome to the forum, I know the lockpicks work but I would think it could be a simple as a interlock on the gear shifter

 

aftermarket i'd agree with you; but this thing.... is complicated x 10...

If Honda lets you do it 'on the roll'... why doesn't GM?

most foriegn ones do... does the Ford Sync?

 

I checked out the GM Lockpick website and it looks good. Kinda of pricey, but seems simple to install.

Has anyone installed one?

 

Search the forum for "lockpick". There's been quite a bit of discussion on it. Not all good.
