Its a picture of the oil level sensor with the electrical connector removed.
attached is the previous picture in the sequence...removing the connector from the sensor...
Here is the procedure for servicing the sensor...however the jist of my post was to check the connection TO rather then just replacing it first...

Ours recently started doing the same thing.
Don't recall how many times I have had it checked by someone else and myself.
For a SUV with only around 20K on it, it has a bad track record.
50K down the drain is how I look at it.
It might come out of the stealership tomorrow.
It has locked the doors after we got out, and I left the keys inside.
We went to a farm for veggies and did have the windows down, so we did get back in.
Not to mention after backing out of the driveway and then when you shift to drive, it don't go.
After moving it to Park, then back to drive twice, it finally engaged and took off.

07 Escalade NOW shows low oil
I just had my rear main seal and oil pan gasket replaced (AWD) and when i got it back, it now shows low oil, must add oil. I went out and checked and it was filled to the top. I then reset my % to 100% but it still shows low oil. Wondering if when they dropped the oil pan, if they forgot to plug something in or pinched wires to something
