And I see he didn't take your suggestion and quit ragging on Autozone.

Would said "metal line with 2 big fittings" look anything like this?

If so its a flexible exhaust coupling...
It lets the engine move with minimal deflection to the exhaust system

Yeah man, don't rag Autozone. The reason I like them is because they actually have a parts lookup counter AND a checkout. I wouldn't spend 30 minutes in Advance waiting in line () to buy what I could have bought at Autozone in 5 minutes.

But lets get back to the actual discussion. Its really off-topic...

Yeah, lets see some pics of the swap!

lol or the fact that they buy from the cheapest companies that sell low grade no name products and sell them for more..ive known 3 people that bought from there causing major damage to their cars. 1 involving a serpentine belt that pretty much shredded into a million pieces causing it to overheat and warp and same with a thermostat. also known many peoples fuel pumps to go out on them... also the part im looking for is this

The part looks to me like a coolant passage.

As for your AutoZone Vs. Advance issue,
I just said it was off-topic. While I, as a Super Moderator, disagree with your opinion, I respect your right to your opinion on this forum. It just doesn't relate to the topic of this thread.
Please don't mention AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts anymore in this thread unless its just a passing reference.
