Default Fan Control Resistor Location

Typical chevy truck with a bad fan control resistor. Just wondering if anyone has a location. Its on a 99 Chevy Suburban. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure on that particular truck but the ones I've seen are typically near the blower in order to be cooled.

if he means blower fan then its still the same, as close to the motor as possible if not in the same housing.

cooling fan? same idea, usually on the bracket that holds the fan.

I meant the heater. I tried to look but still have not found it. Maybe when the forever falling snow stops I can get a better look. Thank you

bro you have to be more SPECIFIC. Do you mean heater core? Or blower motor fan? Or Climate control blend door servos?

The problem is the heater/ac only blows on high. I couldnt tell you what does what haha. Its does have driver/passenger settings. Just one. Dont know if that helps.

to my knowlage that would be located on the passenger side floor about where your right food would be. But you have to take off a black plastic cover i believe to get to it.
