Default first Tahoe ! , problems need advise on my 2000 please

i just bought my 2000 checy Tahoe LS and it came with a few problems first off the daytime running lights dont work and also the enmergency break cable it broken *** well , But my main consern it the A/C in the front works but when you are running down the highway it blows air with the air seystem off ' as if u still had it on number one setting but the comppressor is not running ' any advise please im a picky guy as we all are and its driving me nutts just knowing it has these problems ,, ALso as a first time chevy owner i would like to know any heads up anyone might have for me to know ahead of time as in problems it might hasve or what to exspect thanks for any help i might get i would apreciate it greatly e mail me if u know anything at housztonblue@yahoo.com

for the daytime running lights i would check the fuses as well as the bulbs. for the cable get a new one put on. for the ac i would think that it may be just cold air being fosted into the vents from the speed i know my truck blows a bit of air with all the controls turned off.
