Sorry guys i searched the threads for this problem but couldnt find anything, i have a 98 Tahoe and my gas hand is giving me problems i replaced the fuel pump and flot on it and the gas hand jumps around on it, i can fill up and drive awhile and stop at a light and the hand is on F and look down then its on E but when i drive for awhile it goes back to F then it trys to work a little will go to half a tank but i have to keep up with my milage so i dont run out.Wonder if it could be the hand in the cluster?

 

Did the problem start after you put in the new fuel pump assembly? If it did then maybe you installed the wrong pump for that year.

 

it was doing it before just got worse so we thought it might be the flot so we changed it, it worked fine for about 4 months but now its going back the same way.
