Default Fuel pipe source?

2003 Tahoe 5.3L Flex:
Looking to source the "metal fuel filler pipe" that resides above the beam behind the fuel tank.
GM PN # 15124906.
List dealer $117 , discontinued and pricey.

Can anyone suggest a generic metal fuel filler pipe?
Each end of the metal filler pipe feeds into heavy rubber filler hoses:
one rubber hose comes from the filler neck gas cap,
the other rubber hose leads to the fuel tank.
I guess that GM decided that a rubber hose rubbing over / against the cross beam frame would not be prudent.
It seems that any metal fuel pipe will function correctly.

As badly rusted as both pipes are, you should replace both. Here is the assembly at RA: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...839660&jsn=713

You should never just throw some pipe in there for fuel. The OE pipe has has raised edges at the ends for a better hose seal with a clamp.
