Default Gas gauge problem

I have a 08 Tahoe LTZ and its been in the shop 3 times for the same problem. Especially when I'm at a 1/4 tank and going down a hill the gauge goes to 0 and the low fuel starts beeping. It will go back up eventually but it is a real pain in the ***. The last time in the shop he said he replaced the sending unit but first hill I went down same thing!!!

Any ideas???

I have a 07 LTZ and have the same problem. I park it on a steepish incline and occasionally when the fuel gets down to a 1/4 tank I can park it at night and wake up in the morning with an empty tank and low fuel warnings.

Once I move it off the slope it does eventually rise back up to 1/4. Hmmm.

Folks, my 07 LS does the same thing. It is natural and there is a logic behind it. There is a good thread regarding this matter in the very same forum. Please search. Thanks.
