Went to dealership to see about getting the old valve cover replaced with the redesigned valve cover for my 2007 Tahoe 5.3 liter engine. I wanted to find out how much it would cost and then ask them to pay 60/40 because it's there fault. Couldn't get them to admit there was a problem so it was a very short conversation. I really wanted to get it repaired before my next trip of 3200 miles. From all the trends and advice the 2 things I'm going to do is the valve cover and a tune to shut AFM off.

 

Lol, typical of them. I know dozens of people that tried to convince GM about their mistakes - unsuccessfully.

 

You think they'd admit to an engine problem?
They've killed over 100 people before admitting to a problem...
